Food Pantry
Many families in our county struggle trying to make ends meet. Project Understanding’s food pantry bridges the gap and is structured to help those in need by assisting with food.
The Food Pantry provides weekly groceries to individuals/families whose budget cannot support the purchase of groceries, who are struggling with the decision of paying rent or putting groceries on the table. The Food Pantry serves over 4,500 people per month, approx. 30,000 meals.
Pantry Hours
Tuesday 9:00am - 1:00pm
Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm
We operate a drive through pantry. Please remain in your vehicle and check in on Capri Ave/Elba St.
Program requirement is a Picture ID
