Millions of people struggle to keep food on their tables. The Food Pantry at Project Understanding is a place people can turn to when they find themselves with an empty cupboard.
The Food Pantry at Project Understanding provides groceries once a month to families whose budget cannot support the purchase of their own. Donations may include in-kind, non-perishables, fresh vegetables and fruits and money designated for food. Most food on the shelves is purchased from FOOD Share.
For help with food, please come to the First Step Center 9:00 am - 1:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Program requirements for the intake portion are:

- Proof of Address - rental agreement; if renting a room, letter from landlord
