Fill-A-Van with Back-to-School Backpacks

Back2SchoolCrayonsAs we rapidly approach the first day of school, Project Understanding is asking for your help with basic school supply donations. Our tutoring sites and pantry families are in need of backpacks and the basic items needed for kids to start their year with confidence.  Our goal is to arm each child with the tools they need to succeed. Project Understanding currently has 11 tutoring centers throughout Ventura County, in El Rio, Oxnard, Santa Paula, Saticoy and Ventura. Our Food Pantry allows over 1,000 people to use their funds to stay housed while not sacrificing their access to food.
